Villa Civil collaborated with the City of San Diego’s Transportation Department to develop the FY24 Transportation Strategic Plan, a comprehensive document aligning departmental goals with the Mayor’s strategic vision. As part of this effort, Villa Civil facilitated workshops with departmental divisions—including IT, Grants, Administration, Right of Way Management, Streets, and Traffic Engineering—to define their core functions, identify challenges, and set SMART goals for FY24. This process ensured each division’s priorities were effectively integrated into the strategic plan, fostering alignment with citywide objectives. Villa Civil also contributed to the creation of a 90-day action plan for the Transportation Department Director, which outlined immediate steps for operational improvements and policy alignment. The strategic planning process included the development of detailed organizational charts, division overviews, and a structured format for the plan’s delivery, with content tailored for both internal and public-facing stakeholders. The finalized document was designed in InDesign, incorporating visuals and branding elements to enhance accessibility and presentation quality. By coordinating input across divisions and providing clear, actionable frameworks, Villa Civil supported the City of San Diego in advancing its transportation goals for FY24.
